Empty holidays album
Empty photo album with a pink hearts, Minnie Mouse cover. The album is composed of 10 pages and presents the traces left by the pictures, the pages are indeed yellowed. The album turns to be very romantic as there are pen handwritten annotations in each page describing what was depicted into the pictures, but the images themselves are missing. The album belongs to a 12 years old girl and the writings are cute and coherent to that age, such as “J’ai la chaire de poule” french for “I have the goose bumps” including a little drawing of a little goose “Oh le beau Pelican! (On est allé au zoo)” French for “ Such a beautiful pelican! ( We went to the zoo)”. The starting page of the album presents a drawing of a beach with the sun, the waves, a dolphin, a boat and a starfish saying “C’est les vacances à la mer”, French for Beach holidays. The pictures were taken in 1986 and 1986 nearby Nice and Monaco, between Ville Franche sur Mer, Menton, Saint Paul de Vence. The dimension of the album is 29,5 x 25,5 cm.
