“…All that men know about women! Unabridged and unexpurgated” is a jest book by Abdul Smith, published by Pentangle, UK, in 1977. The book is a joke about the controversial condition of understanding and misunderstanding between men and women. The book measures 11 x 18 cm and is composed by 160 blank pages. On the back cover it presents some funny reviews done by fake magazines like Thyme magazine stating “…an absolute masterpiece which will confirm the suspicious of many women thoughts and the thoughts of many suspicious men.” Jest books (or Jestbooks) are collections of jokes and humorous anecdotes in book form - a literary genre which reached its greatest importance in the early modern period.
